Meet the people who care
Born and raised in Abbotsford, BC, Dr Ryan Kowalski has deep roots in the Fraser Valley, where he spent most of his childhood, with brief stints in Prince George, Prince Albert, and Portland. Hockey played a significant role in his early years, leading him to play in the Western Hockey League for three seasons as he pursued his dream of becoming a professional athlete.
After shifting gears, Ryan completed his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley before moving to Portland, Oregon, where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic. During his time there, he gained invaluable experience working under renowned chiropractors, including the former US Olympic Team Chiropractor and team chiropractors for the Portland Timbers and Portland Winterhawks. These opportunities equipped him with a broad range of techniques to treat a variety of conditions, shaping him into a well-rounded and holistic healthcare provider.
Ryan's approach to treatment is centered around his patients. He focuses on understanding the root cause of the problem, why it persists, and exploring multiple treatment options. While chiropractic care is a physical practice, Ryan also places great importance on his patients' emotional well-being, taking pride in offering compassionate and comprehensive care.
Whether you're dealing with chronic pain or a new injury, Ryan is well-versed in treating a wide range of conditions and is committed to providing an honest, approachable, and personalized path to health and well-being.
